C.J. Stubbs

Born: Nov. 12, 1996
A younger brother of Garrett Stubbs, C.J. made his debut with the Washington Nationals on Sept. 1, 2025, but was optioned back to Triple-A Rochester the next day.
He was selected by the Houston Astros in the 10th round of the 2019 major league draft after being both a catcher and pitcher at Southern Cal. He signed a minor-league contract with Washington in late November 2024 and played for Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester. The Nationals called him up to the majors on Aug. 27, 2025.
C.J. played for Team Israel in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
