The Cincinnati Reds’ fifth-round draft pick out of Rice in 2019 spent five seasons in the minor leagues, compiling a 12-11 record and 3.98 ERA with five saves. At Double-A and Triple-A in 2023, he struck out 67 batters in 60 2/3 innings. He got a call-up to the Reds on Aug. 28, 2024 and retired both batters he faced in relief against the A’s. He was on Team Israel’s roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
