Monte Pfeiffer

Born: Oct. 7, 1891 - Sept. 27, 1941
Pfeffer started at shortstop for the Philadelphia Athletics on Sept. 29, 1913. He went 0-for-3 against Washington Senators pitcher Walter Johnson. He was injured the next day during warmups and never returned to the big leagues.
